Compassion For All

Making Disciples of Men

While attending Bible College, Chaplain Haniah worked to get his ministry degree and wrote the plans for Heart of Compassion (Compassion For All). He would go through training in both New York and Dallas to have the credentials needed to build up this new vocation that focused on preventive services for at-risk youth and re-entry for incarcerated men with upcoming release dates. In 2023, His work with at-risk youth in the City of Mesquite would be recognized by the Mayor offering a letter of reference to Haniah’s mentorship and positive impact on many young adults facing challenges. He would go on to partner with Lew Sterrett then TDCJ (Texas Department of Criminal Justice) for the re-entry part of his ministry covering chaplaincy work, hygienic provisioning, job facilitation, and collaborating with multiple prison units, trade schools, and halfway houses. Today he continues to do this work and commutes to different prison units for provisioning the love of Christ and teaching messages of tough love, sincere restoration, and vocational preparation.
